Every time i put the url in, it always messes up and just becomes a box with an "x" in it. I last for a day or two then it stops working. grrrrr!! [/color]

Okay, okay. Are you putting a url from a webpage. Like you went to google, found an image, clicked it and it came up on your screen. Did you copy THAT code, like this: www.worth1000.com/entries/338500/338766UbDA_w.jpgOR, are you taking the URL from a photo hosting site like photobucket?

Make an account of photobucket.com
Upload the picture you want to use as your icon on there, then use the given url on that site. The reason you have to do this is because this website can't read a webpage url. When you give it a url from google, it can't take that picture and put it as your icon. It just can't read it. If you upload it on photobucket, then it can read the picture directly becuase that website links to the picture, not the webpage.
If you want, I can upload the picture on my photobucket account and give you the url to put into the avatar thing on your profile.
