We sing, we dance, we hunt things

The wolf and the fox The hunter and the scavenger One to bask in the glow of the moon Another shrouded in the shadow of the sun Would the wolf ever love the fox? Would the wolf not crave her tender flesh, Or the fox not fear his fangs like blades? Would the wolf ever sing to the sun, Or the fox sleep in the light of the moon? In the hazey veil of twilight Would the eyes of Sol and Diana Ever see these two reflections meet? Would the power of love shatter the glass between them? Would it humble the mighty, Or bring courage to the meek? So different and yet so alike Opposite in every way Would they ever tread the same path?

You just inspired me to write a poem similar to that, but i'm debating whether to make it rhyme or not. Maybe a subtle rhyme scheme or leave it out all the way. This poem rocks though I love wolves and foxes

God. I think I'm in love with your poetry. This is so weird. XD I've never liked poetry.
You totally sold me with the reference to Sol and Diana, by the way. I'm a sucker for stuff like that.
I think this would be really cool as a little short story. Nothing with characters or anything, just simple and thought provoking.
