Fall on Your Knees
by: Ann-Marie MacDonald
So, this is an Oprah book club book (cute, I know). It's very good. About a dysfunctional family-Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant reminded me of it (NOT a recommendation)- but like eleventy times better. Rather controversial and iff-y sometimes (check warning). A little slow in the beginning, but stick with it, you'll be glad. It's really moving and intense and profound and rich. Read it
If you're interested, I have it.
WARNING: Contains homosexuality and incest. Along with your more typical kind of sex between a female and male that aren't related. Nothing explicit.

Interview with the Vampire
by: Ann Rice (don't hate!)
Only the most intense book you'll ever read. Her writing style is very embodying. You become sympathetic with the characters, and it's all about development. So, do read. And then you can squee for ages about it with me!! Ahh. I have this one as well.

Gone with the Wind
by: Margaret Mitchell
Anyone hesitant because of the movie, hesitate no further! I've never seen the movie actually, but it seemed rather lame. Also, it seemed like a lame story. But, it's not! Yay! Okay, so I haven't finished it; still have 500 more pages, but I digress, it's good. Those historical fiction lovers: this is good.

Jane Eyre
by: Charlotte Bronte
Haven't read it? Well, you haven't lived! Mystery, historical, adventure, growing-up, romance, and horror all in one! Bronte was way beyond her time. This book has it all, and is very sweet. Those who liked Pride and Prejudice will LOVE this.

The Bell Jar
by: Sylvia Plath
I was hesitant to read it, because of how Sylvia Plath killed herself with an oven, and this book is supposedly about her struggles. Anyway, it was good. Well-written and character developing. Read some of her poetry as well, it rules. Even if you don't like poetry (me), it's frank and morbid, so lots of fun there.

That's all for now. Tell me if you read them, I'd love to discuss!
